Cycling is awesome for your aerobic capacity. The problem is you often outstrip your muscular system in the process. Your muscles won't go when you try to get them to even though your barely breathing because they are not strong enough to handle the stress. Also, cycling wreaks havoc on your hip flexors, leading to shit like piriformis syndrome. If you cycle in excess while biking, you'll remember that name. So if you bike, make sure you get regular massages, stretch a lot, and do weights and long runs.
                out.
